[edit] Characteristics
[edit] Fallen Earth Character Character Creation
When creating a character in Fallen Earth, you can select a premade head model from a number of choices. There are no controls (sliders) for facial customization. What can be customized is:
- Age (slighly)
- Pigmentation of the skin
- Body Scale (uniform)
- Eye color
- Hair Style
- Hair Color
- Facial Hair (male characters)
- Make-up (female characters)
- Piercings
- Body Hair (male characters)
- Belly Ring (female characters)
- Starting clothing
- Shirt
- Hat
- Pants
- Shoes
After creating the character and entering the game players will be able to select from 18 starter towns broken across five counties in the first sector. Each town has its own stories, missions, merchants, items, tradeskill knowledges, etc, though the towns in each county are tied together in terms of story and background.
[edit] Fallen Earth Character Character Customization
The game will include barber shops, tattoo parlors, face paint kits, and other means for players to change their appearances after character creation. These shops and items will usually be found in barter towns and other large settlements. Only the skin tone and color, head model, and body size cannot be altered.
Not every piece of clothing will be modifiable, but many pieces will. For example, there’s not a lot you can do to change the way you wear a t-shirt or a bullet proof vest, but many of the jackets, pants, baseball caps, etc have modifiable elements. Generally these clothes have various options that can be selected through the gear window or by clicking on the appropriate piece of clothing on the avatar.
[edit] Characters and Guild affinity
Fallen Earth does not impose artificial limits on the player's choice of his guild. Every character may be member of a different guild.
[edit] Communication
Players will be able to exchange emails through the Mail System. Each town will have a post office, mail box, or officer of Franklin's Riders present to pick up and deliver mail. Furthermore players will be able to exchange private messages with other players. They will also be able to speak in local, team, and region chat.
